Each card can be used tens of thousands of times. The parking terminal dispenses the card to the user in less than two seconds, and upon entry (in the case of a self-reloading parking terminal), it automatically places the card back into the terminal’s entry section, ready for reuse without operator intervention. The automatic pay station uses all denominations of deposited coins and one denomination for banknotes for change of the overpaid amount. It allows for the purchase of monthly parking and the purchase of a new parking card in case of loss. Therefore, the system is user-friendly and cost-effective to maintain, suitable for use in all modern parking facilities.

For optimal operation, we recommend that the system includes the following components:

  • Self-reloading or standard entry/exit parking terminal.
  • An automatic pay station with corresponding software that enables payment of parking fees using various payment methods.
  • Fast barriers with opening times of 1-3 seconds.
  • Validators for validating parking cards or allowing personal passage.

The parking system is based on plastic cards. Users purchase these cards once, and then visitors can use each card until it is mechanically damaged (broken). The acquisition cost of paper tickets with barcode or magnetic stripe is higher because they need to be purchased repeatedly and also reloaded in the entry parking terminal. The use of reusable plastic parking cards results in annual savings (with daily use of 500 parking tickets) ranging from EUR 2,000 to EUR 5,000 compared to systems that use paper tickets with magnetic stripes or barcodes.
